Promoting Hokkaido-Toyako Summit in Germany(December 19, 2007)
HEILIGENDAMM, June 6 - Three representatives from the Hokkaido Government and Iburi subprefecture's Toya Town distributed English pamphlets at the Japanese Press Center at the Heiligendamm Summit in Germany on June 6. The pamphlets introduced Hokkaido and Toya Town, which will host the next summit.
The representatives, who were sent to Germany to support the Japanese delegation, also distributed the pamphlets at the International Media Center near the main summit site. Representatives of the Toyako Town Summit Promotion Office wore "happi" coats with the word "Hokkaido" printed on them and shouted "The next summit will be held in Hokkaido" to publicize the Hokkaido-Toyako Summit.
